Easter Celebration

First let me shout out a big thank you to the reason for Easter, our God, our savior, Jesus Christ. Without him we are nothing. He is the only reason we have the joy of being parents to our beautiful boys, both in heaven and here on earth. So thank you heavenly father for all of your blessings on our family!
So Easter was truly I think our best family holiday yet! It was so much fun to see my sisters and my niece and nephew and the excitement of the day through their eyes. My heart truly was overflowing with joy. The Easter service at my home church (church I grew up in) was so amazing and another reminder of how much I miss attending there! I was so thrilled to be able to spend Easter morning with so many loved and familiar faces. It was such a joyful morning celebrating the resurrection and getting to see everyone and share Isaac with them, what a blessed Mama I am! So here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend, with a little help from my favorite new photo tool, Instagram. ;)

It's been a long time!

Hello there! It has been such a long time since I've written...anything!  So forgive me for my very long absence, life kind of has a tendency to get in the way.  I really enjoy the process and taking the time to sit down and get my thoughts and feelings down on paper is really an important tool for me, both as a Mom and just as a human being in general. So my goal is to try and write more often on here. Surgery

At 8.5 months Isaac finally had his Hypospadias surgery! He handled it like a champ and is recovering now at home. It was much scarier for his Mommy and Daddy! We are so thankful and blessed that everything went smoothly and the pediatric urologist was very pleased with the results. We go back for his post op apointment this Thursday the 15th to remove his bandage and receive instruction on how to clean etc until he is all healed up! Thanks to everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers. Here are some pics from the day.
