3 Months Old!

Well actually Isaac is 13 weeks old yesterday but if you go by his birthday date then today is 3 months! I can't believe our sweet boy has been here with us for 3 months already.  Part of me feels like no time at all has passed and yet it also feels like he has always been here.  I can't imagine my life without him. Having a baby really does change everything. Its funny, your whole life you look for "true love" then you find it in your spouse (or so you  thought) until you become a mommy! Now the love of your life is short, fat and bald and you love him more than life! No matter how much you think you are prepared for these amazing, overwhelming, emotions of Mommyhood they still surprise you at the depth of just how much you love this tiny little person that you and your hubby miraculously created.  I am still in awe over the fact that Isaac was inside me all those months! That we created this amazing little man who will someday, God willing, be a caring compassionate man of God. That is the deepest desire of this Mommy's heart.  Well I have to go and feed my beautiful boy. I will post some pictures soon!

It's been a long time!

Hello there! It has been such a long time since I've written...anything!  So forgive me for my very long absence, life kind of has a tendency to get in the way.  I really enjoy the process and taking the time to sit down and get my thoughts and feelings down on paper is really an important tool for me, both as a Mom and just as a human being in general. So my goal is to try and write more often on here. Surgery

At 8.5 months Isaac finally had his Hypospadias surgery! He handled it like a champ and is recovering now at home. It was much scarier for his Mommy and Daddy! We are so thankful and blessed that everything went smoothly and the pediatric urologist was very pleased with the results. We go back for his post op apointment this Thursday the 15th to remove his bandage and receive instruction on how to clean etc until he is all healed up! Thanks to everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers. Here are some pics from the day.
